Coalition for Children and Youth Council Meeting Dedicated to Determining Action Plan for 2017

At the meeting held on March 2 2017 the Coalition Board reviewed the Coalition’s priorities and plans for 2017. Issues to be actively advocated in 2017 were  elaborated by the thematic groups and presented by coordinators of the aforementioned groups. The Coalition Council agreed on advocacy strategy, which focuses on the current problematic issues in the advocacy process that can be solved  through the activation of the government institutions. Please find below the issues, which will be advocated by the Coalition:

  • Children living in institutions left beyond the reform
  • Development of day care centers providing family support services
  • Improvement of services rendered by day care centers for people with disabilities
  • Advocating for service continuity
  • Secondary crime prevention policy analysis
  • Advocating for results of study of problems identified in the process of Juvenile Justice Code implementation
  • Advocating for violence referral monitoring implementation
  • Labor Exploitation of street children
  • Advocating for the concept of policy supporting youth who left care
  • Study -Assessment of Youth Who Left Care

The Council also agreed that the thematic groups will develop a detailed action plan and performance indicators for each issue.
